About BSc Computer Science

BSc Computer Science (BSc CS) is a 3-year undergraduate program that deals with the subjects and topics related to computer science, computer application, and its services. The main aim of this program is to create quality professionals and research fellows who can work in every sector of the world by implementing the technology of computer systems and software.

The basic BSc Computer Science eligibility is a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 with Science subjects. MIC offer this course in a regular mode.  The admission is mostly done on the basis of merit.

The course provides students a great deal to enter the real world where ambitious computer science professionals can showcase their skills as Software Developer, System Integrator, System Analyst among other job profiles.

BSc Computer Science Eligibility Criteria

When talking about admissions for a particular course at MIC, candidates can check out the common eligibility criteria for BSc admissions  givenbelow.

  • Candidates must have completed an intermediate level of education or equivalent from a recognised board.

  • The minimum percentage requirement from plus two is above 55 percentage

  • Science students can only apply this course.

Direct Admissions for BSc Admissions for BSc

  • The Direct Admission process is followed by a majority of colleges under Kannur University.

    Through this pathway, candidates are selected on the basis of their marks scored in the plus two examination.

  • For this, candidates can apply through kannur university website as per university rule.

  • Admission is made on the basis of qualifying examination marks and additional weightage will be given as per the Kannur University Regulations.

  • If candidates have enrolled in the Allotment list, they will be eligible for admission in the specified institution.

  • If candidates fail to enroll in the list, they will either have to wait for the next allotment or can apply for management quota, if available.

Management Admissions for BSc

  • The Management Admission process is followed by a majority of colleges under Kannur University.

  • For this, candidates can apply through kannur university website as per university rule.

  • After completing the University application, immediately contact the college.
